It’s February – Where did you find love?
February already!! The month of love – isn’t it great! But I’d like to know – where did you find love?
I was invited by a group of medical students to participate in a panel of female physicians. The students were interested in getting a perspective on balancing work and family. At the end of the evening, one of the students remarked, “This is all really helpful information, but where do you meet the guy?”
Good question! Let’s help her out!! Tell me – Where did you meet your partner?

You’ll be able to go out for dinner on Valentine’s Day and reminisce about how you met! Helping her, helping you – it’s a win-win!
And the winners are:

That is such a great question! I met my husband through my college roommate. I have no idea if it was an intentional setup – I’ve never asked – or simply fortuitous happenstance, but I am grateful for it. I had just moved back to NY after grad school when my roommate and her then fiance visited to register goodies for their wedding registry. They were staying with my now husband and I had arranged to meet up for dinner with them. They dragged my husband with them and we hit it off spectacularly well. He made sure to grab my number before I left for the night and then we arranged for our first date. Over ten years later, we’ve had our ups and downs but we are still together and very happy with one another.
